1. Twitter

Just the name alone is super lame. Even lamer though, are people who are like, “Yeah, I updated my Twitter.” or “Follow me on Twitter.” There are an overwhelming amount of social networking sites, which I believe are achieving the antithesis of their goal. We are becoming more plugged into the computer, not each other. We are losing communication skills, not gaining them. Twitter is just one more unappealing, poorly named social fad that I’m just not getting into.

2. Blu-ray

What the hell is this? We just get accustomed to DVDs, VHS is officially obsolete; rather than just enjoy the DVD format and all its amenities, it’s onto Blu-Ray. Well, you know what? Fuck Blu-ray! Until I find a compelling reason to bypass DVDs (like the freezing up when the disc is scratched), no Blu-Rays for me. I don’t even want to know what they are or how they work – I don’t care! It just sounds like another fly-by-night gadget of waste, like the laser disc or HD radio

Features:

* 4 bandlimited unison wave-morphing-oscillators in full stereo, each of which can generate 16 voices per note.

* Each Oscillator have additional modes: Noise, PWM, dual-saw, string-model and rompler

* 3 stereo filters per note. Selectable lowpass, bandpass, highpass, lowshelf, peaking, highshelf.

* 3 stereo distortion stages per note. 10 different distortion-modes including bitcrushing and sample rate reduction.

* 24 Notes of polyphony, which adds up to a total of 1536 simultaneous oscillator voices and 72 filters in realtime.

* 8 ADSR envelope generators per note.

* 4 Low Frequency Oscillators per note (plus 2 global) with 18 different waveforms.
