Deepika props tie a rakhi to the Indian captain MS Dhoni’s cricket on the day of Rakshabandhan. But before you get above that Deepika is not the leading man of Bollywood who with the names of Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh were lig sometime back. It is the archer from Jharkhand who brought the budding laurels to the country bagged a gold medal in the 1st round of the championship to arch in the world of youth in the U.S. on 16 July this year. Busy practice in academia to the shooting range of Tata with Olympic glory on his mind, Deepika has plans to come to Ranchi on August 5 and go to the rest of Dhoni tie the rakhi. I always revered as an elder brother and when I bagging a gold medal in the U.S., I thought I was the closer in Rakhsabandhan that I can not refuse, said the TOI the 15-year-old with a glint in their eyes.

Deepika, hail from a village trivial, Katamkuli, in the district of Ranchi was a sport-lover since childhood. Showing that lack of money and the facilities could not stop a focused individual to success, joined the academy’s firing range of the Saraikela-Kharsawan for a short time before coming to the academy where the bus from Tata Dharmendra Tiwary started to prepare above. Her father Shiv Narayan Mahti is an auto driver in Ranchi Geeter Devi and mother is a nurse in a government hospital in the Tupko.Deepika never get a chance to go to school for teaching conventional but appeared directly in final examinations this year and passed. While I fixed the second division in the examination for registration, I was happy because I could continue with my education, she said.

Deepika is now making his intermediary in college in the town of Kareem Jamshedpur.Deepika give much credit to the academy by Tata for its development as an archer. Because a child I never get the curve and arrow because I did not have any space for that. But my mother recognized my interest and agreed to give me Saraikela academy in spite of financial constraints, he said. The gold medal at the world youth brought to the centrestage and now I have to live upto the expectations of the people. For that I am putting the best effort, he said. Deepika raises was 6:30 in the morning and after practicing for 10 hours daily to retire by 10 to house at night. This packed schedule, saves hours a day for studies.

Talk about your training, Deepika said, apart from physical exercise, we are taught the special tricks to control your breath and refer to the training of the imagination so to participate in an event we are not nervous. Added it was prepared to face international competition when they participate in events in Turkey and in Bangkok.I was a bit nervous in the U.S. but the training and presence of mind to you Purmina (their bus) helped me.
